At TSTN, we don’t run a regular 9 to 5 show. Our Network Administrator will take your calls and e-mails between 8 am and 10 pm seven days a week (Eastern Standard Time)!

We recommend that at least 48 hours notice be given when requesting our services.

TSTN tutors are highly qualified. Some have several university degrees while many have won numerous academic awards and have also been recognized for their achievements outside of the classroom. Please note that not all of our tutors are listed here as tutors are not obligated to provide profiles. Please also note that all of our tutors are independent contractors, and are not employees or agents of TSTN for any purpose whatsoever.

Hassan Ahmad

Hassan is currently completing his Masters degree in Economics at the University of Toronto and plans on attending Osgoode Hall Law School next year. He has an undergraduate degree in Biophysics from the University of Western Ontario, where he won the gold medal in his program, and an undergraduate degree from the Richard Ivey School of Business where he graduated with distinction. Outside of school, Hassan enjoys playing basketball, football and frequently fishes. He also likes reading and studying topics pertaining to politics, religion, philosophy and literature.

Chiragh Ajwani

Chiragh has an MBA from the University of Iowa in the US. During the MBA program he majored in Finance. He has several years of work experience in finance and management. During the course of his work, Chiragh has taught finance. He has also been a Grader for an Economics course during the MBA program. Chiragh has a Bachelors Degree in Engineering. He got very good scores on the GMAT and TOEFL. He likes tutoring very much and is also always keen to learn. His interests include playing soccer, cricket and running.

Diwakar Dahal

Diwakar is a graduate of two well know universities, having a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of California Berkeley and an MBA from the Richard Ivey School of Business at the University of Western Ontario. He has worked all over the world, including four years with the United Nations Environment Programme in Thailand. His academic/professional interests are tilted towards math, economics, finance and using computers to make the former areas easier to deal with. He is an MS Excel/Access wiz, having used Excel in particular since the late 80s. Outside of that, he enjoys music, movies and a good mystery.

Lisa Ricci

Lisa is a recent graduate from McGill University, where she received a Bachelor of Commerce degree with a major in accounting. She is currently pursuing her chartered accountancy designation while working in Toronto. Lisa has six years of experience tutoring, which she began during high school tutoring mathematics at all levels. At a university level, Lisa specializes in statistics and commerce courses of study for which she has been a teaching assistant.

Christine Tewfik

Christine is currently an MA (Doctoral Stream) student in Economics and plans on continuing on to a PhD next year. She has an undergraduate degree in Economics with minors in Mathematics and Psychology from Carleton University, where she was the recipient of the Governor General’s Academic Medal at the undergraduate level. She has served as a teaching assistant for 12 courses throughout her undergraduate career, including introductory economics, international economics, advanced probability, calculus and mathematics for engineers.

Nigel Tsang

Nigel is a third year economics and history student studying at the University of Toronto at Mississauga. He is strong in mathematics, economics and history in which he was on the Dean’s Honour List for the past 2 years. He is a native Cantonese speaker and is both fluent in English and Cantonese. Students are welcome to communicate with Nigel in both languages.
